To find out if GoHighLevel is really that great, I dug deep into the reviews by G2, Capterra, etc. And the verdict is out.
What Are The Pros And Cons of GoHighLevel?
Let’s start with the good stuff—the pros of GoHighLevel. Then we’ll get into the cons.
Here are the pros:
GoHighLevel Pros
1. Effortless Automation Workflows
Picture this: potential leads are coming in, but without a solid system in place, you’re letting them slip away. It’s frustrating, right?
With GoHighLevel, you can easily set up automated workflows to capture those inbound leads and triggers using webhooks. Get your automation in check and start reaping the rewards!
2. Easy Integrations
You can connect GoHighLevel with various tools like inventory systems, finance software, payroll programs, and more.
It helps you work smarter by bringing everything toether, so you can focus on running your business instead of getting lost in a sea of separate apps!
3. Unified Inbox
What makes GoHighLevel stand out from other tools at similar prices is its unified inbox and two-way SMS feature.
Unlike many platforms that only offer one-way SMS or don’t include it at all, GoHighLevel lets you actually have real conversations with your customers, making communication so much easier and more effective.
At first glance, the tools look impressive, but once you dig a little deeper, the downsides start to reveal themselves.
GoHighLevel Cons
1. Worst Customer Support in History
Thinking of contacting customer support? Brace yourself for disappointment. Many users, including this one, have faced the same issue: getting the wrong answer when they needed help the most.
It’s frustrating when you’re trying to resolve a problem and end up feeling even more stuck.
2. Trouble With Billing
The billing customer service is a nightmare. You could end up spending months just trying to cancel a subscription, dealing with endless back-and-forth emails, chats, and calls.
It’s maddening to feel trapped in a cycle of frustration when all you want to do is stop the charges.
3. Complex Automation
One of the customers lost a major potential deal because of a bug in the automation system.
The follow-up email never went out, and by the time they caught it, the lead had already moved on.
It’s tough when a glitch like that costs you business.
4. Require You To StayLoggedd In
One customer found it challenging to be logged in all the time to keep an eye on leads. They were also frustrated that they couldn't use their existing phone number with their HighLevel account.
Now, that you have all the positive and negative, what do you think this should be priced at?
Let’s take a guess.
- $47
- $57
- $77
- $97
And the answer is… not so soon, check the next section.
What Is GoHighLevel’s Pricing?

How To Integrate GoHighLevel With LinkedIn?
Here are 3 easy ways ou can integrate GoHighLevel with LinkedIn:
1. Social Planner
Step 1: Log into your sub-account and go to the Marketing section. Click on Social Planner.
Step 2: When you open Social Planner, you’ll see a wizard with a connect option. If you’re in the overview, look for the Settings icon (it looks like a gear).
Step 3: Click on Add LinkedIn Profile/Page(s) to add them.
Step 4: If this is your first time connecting to Social Planner, you’ll need to give it permission.
Step 5: Choose the LinkedIn Profile and Page(s) you want to use in Social Planner.
Step 6: You can manage the accounts using the Settings icon.
But tbh, organic reach is down. Posting content doesn’t help much until and unless you are Adam Robinson or Justin Welsh.
So, you switch to…
2. LinkedIn ads
Step 1: Log into your GoHighLevel account.
Click on Settings and scroll down to find Integrations.
Step 2: Click on the LinkedIn icon to start connecting your account.
Choose the LinkedIn account you want to link and confirm the connection.
Step 3: Set up field mapping for your LinkedIn lead forms.
Match fields like first name, last name, and email to ensure the data goes into GoHighLevel correctly.
Step 4: Finally, set up automation based on LinkedIn interactions, such as sending SMS notifications or tagging leads when they submit forms.
But who has the money to spend money on a method that does not guarantee high ROI or any ROI per se.
In that case, your safest bet is…
3. LinkedIn Outreach
Step 1: Create a SalesRobot Campaign
First things first, you need to create a SalesRobot campaign.
Step 2: Identify Your Ideal Customer
Head over to LinkedIn and start searching for your dream customers.
Step 3: Enroll Leads in an Outreach Sequence
Once you’ve got your list, copy the LinkedIn search URL and go back to SalesRobot and paste the URL.
Step 4: Build Your Outreach Sequence
Start by sending a connection request with a friendly message like, “Hi [First Name], looking forward to connecting!”
Step 5: Start the Campaign
When you're done setting everything up, save your sequence and hit the start button. Once they reply to your messages, you want them to be added as a lead in your GoHighLevel account.
Step 6: Set Up Integration
To link everything together, go to Integrations in GoHighLevel and add a webhook.
Step 7: Set Up a New Weebhook
In GoHighLevel, create a new zap to catch that webhook. When it catches the hook, set it to add or update a contact in GoHighLevel.
Step 8: Copy the Hook URL
Grab the hook URL from GoHighLevel and paste it into SalesRobot. Make sure to set the trigger for when a contact replies to your outreach messages.
Step 9: Connect Zapier to GoHighLevel
While setting up the action in Zapier, choose to add or update a contact in Go High Level. You’ll need to enter your API key to link the two accounts.
Step 10: Map the Fields
Make sure you map the fields correctly so all your info flows smoothly.
Step 11: Mark the Source
Don’t forget to mark the lead source as “SalesRobot” so you can easily track where your leads are coming from.
And that’s it! You’re all set up!
If you find all of this a bit overwhelming, no worries! Here’s the video I promised at the beginning to help you out.
